Driver Survived this Accident due to the Great Efforts of Morris & Minooka Fire Departments & The Loyola Helo Team that Responded within 10 minutes
Loyola Lifestar Helicopter Landed on The Roadway & Quickly Got the Victim to an Area Trauma Center
There were no other passengers in the Van,the Semi driver was Not Injured

  • Todd, again, great work. I`m sure I`ve told you before, but we hardly ever get to see the medevacs land on scene. We`re usually in the backof our ambulance too busy to look out a window when they go skids down. Those "oh shot oh shit" moments. Unless you edited for time, that looked like a hot load. Unless the pt is in "oh shit" condition, the flight crew usually does a quick assessment in the back of the ambulance, then we`ll load them into the bird. Agaia, Great Work! Happy New Year!
