@TeslaShambles I am not saying that Hansen is/will not be a legend but we must be honest and understand that the "most useful" players are selected from the winning teams even if they are not actually the best. That is why Sojance Stoilov the macedonian pivot was also overshadowed by Henrik Toft Hansen even though all the statistics are 2:1 in favour of Stoilov. That is the same reason why Karabatic was selected instead of Lazarov although I agree that he is more versatile.

@1987Makedonec And to further note why defense is so important in handball, why exactly do you think Karabatic and not Lazarov was considered best in Lazarovs so called golden years(which he is still in, hes not playing worse than 3 years ago, if you want to see old players check Lars Christiansen or Olafur) ? Cause Karabatic is far more versatile.

@1987Makedonec Hansen is a legend already. His wristshot is considered unique in the handball world and he has already led the Danish team to silver and gold and world and euro. He is number 2 currently and soon number one(as pick szeged wont play more matches) in terms of goals in CL. Also the game is more than goals. If theres something Denmark wins on, its defense and Hansen is great at that. Hansen is already at Lazarov level or better and he will only improve.
