Coming from a musical family is a major advantage, there's the constant inspiration, guidance and empathy towards your instrumental adolescence that you would NEVER get with normal, unmusical and non-caring parents and siblings.

You can't really hear it in this video, but violins are _very(!)_ loud when played like that. So loud, I couldn't ever practice in my room at any time without a metal mute on the bridge and a sock over both f-holes. It sucks!!!

My daughter is just about to start learning to play the violin!! It was interesting to see what she is in for!! Lots of hard work but worth it when you see what she could eventually do thank you!!!

I love the violin!!!! I played for 14 years and stopped halfway through college, I miss it soooo bad!!! It was always so relaxing for me! It took A LOT of hard work to get where I was. I have forgotten how therapeutic playing can be! This is making me want to start playing again!!! Love your videos!!
