best solution I have ever found is to just mash the keys until I get a human. Worked great 2 years ago with HP. I would be talking to a person that speaks perfect English in the US within 5 minutes.
My guess is this backdoor was to help people that were having trouble with the menus

I hate when my ISP says "There's a problem in your area". That's funny - I know you don't have call display / phone number lookups built into your IVR, so how do you know where I'm even calling from? You haven't even looked up my account so how can you know my problem is related to your outage?

hahaha...credits... pillow thrower 1, pillow thrower 2.
Have you waited so long that you forgot what you were having problems with?...it was a 33 minute wait....
Then another asks "what are you waiting on" YOU! (your running late for work) now its time to go to work...then wishing you didn;t call on a cell phone so you could slam the phone down to hang up on them to get rid of a little frustration...but you can only push a button that makes a small beep.
huh, Tech support....
hahaha sign language! hahahahah is that the router tech support?

We exaggerated slightly there. That isn't actually an option they give you but sometimes it feels like it.

Not to piss in your pocket, but without the RJ45 being plugged in you would'nt of been able to access the router config pages... Other than that, preeety spot on...

Yeah we realize there were a few things technically wrong with it. It is in fact a real working router we used as a broken one. lol Thanks for the feedback though.
