@ytwatcher123321 It is indeed possible, for example the same thing happened to David Archuleta who about the same age as Billy Gilman suffered Vocal Paralysis and had to quit singing for several years and go through much therapy to recover. Even so, David Archuleta's voice was very different after he took up singing again, not just because he was 2 years older, but the vocal cords never fully recovered. Sounds the same with Gilman too.
