Tim Burton's artistic Batman films are still better... why do superhero movies need to be aimed at being "realistic?" The point of superheroes is to put you in a fantasy world... we have enough realistic action movies as it is... Nolan is also overrated in general...

Humans are the species who developed civilization, so of COURSE our lives are worth more than the lives of animals. Now, they still vary among each (yes, a dog's life is worth more than that of a serial killer) but bear in mind that in this context Joker threatened to blow up BOTH boats; as in, including the one with innocent civilians on board; if neither blew up the other. @roxasvanitas1

@HiddenFacedMatt he was asking a question, relax. and don't enphasize "human beings". people overvalue human life as opposed to anything else. i agree with the quantity thing (one life vs. hundreds) but having trouble with quality (serial killers and self-rightous citizens vs. fido).

It was that or endanger the lives of hundreds of innocent human beings who might die if he failed to stop Joker. One dog, who works for the bad guy, obviously makes for a more acceptable casualty. @Jobbeybob

You're a fucking dumbass. Bale is the best Wayne and Batman there is and will ever be. The voice is realistic and very cool....because its interesting how Joker has a calm voice and is evil while Batman is good and has a rough voice. The contrast was very well thought out. Plus you know Bale didn't do the voice
