The state treasurer went before the Senate committees today to defend Gov. Chris Christie's proposed $32.1 billion spending plan for next year. The budget has an 8.1 percent increase over the one that Christie signed last June and state treasurer Andrew Sidamon-Eristoff said it will enhance the "New Jersey Comeback" that Christie talks about.
