TSCC: Carry On (Rewind and Rewrite/BOIT)

Okay so this is my entry to rewind and rewrite round in the BOIT competition. In this challenge, we had to take an event in a show, change it, and then vid the outcome. The fandom I chose was TSCC. It seems to be my show of choice for these contests lol I've actually had this vid started for a while and just couldn't find the motivation to finish it. So the competition gave me the perfect opportunity to get this done and I think I like the way it turned out so I hope you enjoy it and feedback is always appreciated!

Original Storyline: At the end of season 2, Cameron gives her chip to John Henry and then jumps to the future. Catherine Weaver then decides to jump to the future also so she can help John Henry. John Connor wants to get Cameron's chip back so he goes to the future with Weaver while Sarah stays behind in the past. John ends up in a future where he never led the Resistance and no one knows who John Connor is, including Derek and Kyle Resse.

My Storyline: John doesn't go to the future to save Cameron and stays behind with Sarah. They burn Cameron's body and then move on to continue fighting Skynet and trying to stop Judgement Day, leaving the memories of Cameron and Derek behind. As John struggles with memories of Cameron, Sarah is diagnosed with cancer. She eventually dies and John is left to continue alone all the way to Judgement Day.

Voiceovers:

Sarah: "John, we can't."
John: "I know."

John: "Mom, are you sick?"
Sarah: "I think so."

Sarah: "It's my fate. There's nothing I can do."
John: "I love you."
