  • When you talk about players, you have to consider the era. Koufax was the best left hander I ever saw in his era. Gibby was as good as any righty. Im biased cause he is a relative of mines. I think however for any era, Walter Johnson tops em all. When you consider who he played for, his record is amazing. On the Koufax/Brock thing, after he bunted Koufax drilled him to send a msg. Broke shoulder blade. The Cards got the msg. Dont bunt on me for hits. Sandy wasnt the best of fielders on bunts.

  • @Ariamaluum game 1 was when he set a world series record 15 strikeouts in one game until it was broken by gibson in 68 with 17 and then he struck out 8, he actually made a bet with whitey ford on which pitcher will strikeout more and whitey won the bet but he said he would have rather won the games

  • @chicksdigmizunos98. How about them gem against the Yankees in 1963?

  • @Ariamaluum dodgers, koufax pitched game 2 and lost but he won game 5 and on 2 days rest pitched a complete game shutout in game 7

  • @chicksdigmizunos98. Sandy could talk to opposing players and still get them out. He did throw inside though but a poor fielder if you got a ball on the ground. Lou Brock reached on a bunt against him, stole second, reached third on a force, and came home on a sac. Next time up, Sandy threw right at his back and Lou was out for that game which set the tone. That was in 1965 and who won that year?

  • Bob Gibson and Satchel LeRoy Paige( who played for one of my dad's teams, and toured barnstorm with Satchel) are my two favs .

  • lower the mound= nobody's better than gibson

  • Gibby has the record for the best E.R.A. of 1.12 in I believe 1968 or maybe 1967.

  • No. Just saying that I give no credibility to steroid users.

  • r u saying that pedro wuz juiced up on roids?????
