This is my first acrylic HHO Generator. It has 12 stainless plates in it and is 12"W x 12"H x 6"D, and hold almost 3 gallons of water. I have 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking soda in the water and wanted to test the output. We tested it 5 times and had an average time of 50 seconds to fill a .5 liter bottle, results in 30 liters per hour. Please comment and let me know if you have any suggestions to make it better. If any one know how to measure the amps please let me know, that is next.

  • You don't measure HHO production "per hour". Use per minute, which, in this case, your only putting out slightly more than .5 liters per minute. What is missing is what the amps were during testing, plate configuration, plate makeup, etc. Thanks for sharing the vid.

  • Because Liters are for liquid cubic centimeters are the correct measurement for terminology's sake, at a density of 0 pounds per cubic centimeter since Hydrogen is lighter than air and Oxygen is as heavy as air thus two atoms of H and one of O =HHO you savy?

  • Yes, the whisperin was cute...

I didn't notice what type of plates you're using in this cell? Are they 304 or 316L or other?

Also, where'd ya get the 12 X 12 plates and for how much?

I created a dry cell made out of SS rulers and only using 2 of the 4 cells in my unit, I'm producing .5L in about from 54 to 60 seconds at 14 amps and approx 12 volts.

I should be able to push your kind of volume out of a 1 X 12 cell!

    Keep up the great work.

    Sincerely,

    Superbee1970...

  • Use sodium hydroxide (lye)chemical grade. Not sodium bicarbonate (baking soda). You'll be happier with your results. Also, use distilled water.

  • I like the whispering at the end... :-)
