After the 1st night of the workshop for Homage 3: Illmatic A new play by Shaun Neblett I got a few quick sound bites from talented actors Gbenga Akinnagbe, who came to see the show and one of the lead actors, Clinton Lowe. Director, Nicole Watson blessed us with her energy as well.

Homage 3: Illmatic is a visual representation of Nas' classic album. It's an amazing show that takes it's audience back to the days of early 90's Hip-Hop. I speaks in the voice of the black youth of that time and gives the listener/viewer and understanding of why times were so "Illmatic." If you get a chance to see it...don't miss it. ONE LOVE.
