Pittsburgh Tea Party

Pittsburgh Tea Party held 4-11-2009. Held by PennsylvaniaTeaParty.com, organized by Robert Baehr. The tea party started with a Buffet Breakfast with Dr. Alan Keyes the keynote speaker, and then a march across the 6th Street Bridge to Allegheny Landings for the Pennsylvania Tea Party. This was a wonderful way to spend a sunny afternoon.

See that bridge these 100 or so yinzers are walking across? If it weren't for taxes, IT WOULDN'T BE THERE. See those policemen (more policemen then Fox-"News" - sponsored protestors) - they wouldn't be there either if it weren't for taxes. And there's a hospital building not too far from this stupid "event" - where some of their relatives go for health care paid for by tax dollars. What a bunch of ignorant imbeciles.

The growth of Government and the welfare state is crushing the private sector, the cost of which will soon be more than tax payers can pay for even at marginal rates over 90 %. Then the Fed will print even more devalued currency resulting in hyper inflation, a collapse of the bond market followed by a knee-jerk rise in interest rates. Does this sound familiar. I lived through the disaster of the Carter years, this will be much worse.

If you weren't so blinded by your hatred you would take the time to listen before venting your odious spleen . The objection isn't against taxes to pay for building and improving infrastructure and national security and those things that are enumerated to government to do by the Constitution. But rather the Tea Parties are a protest against the insane out-of-control, wasteful, irresponsible spending that will enslave our children and grandchildren.
