Just one correction: CO2 is increasing and Global Temps are falling because of sun inactivity. That proves CO2 is not the MAIN cause of past Global Warming but that does not deny that CO2 causes SOME warming. CO2 causes some MINUSCULE warming because it is a MINOR greenhouse gas(GHG). The sun is the key factor in global temp, you see global temp increasing and decreasing along with sun activity. CO2 does not do that: Now and in the 70s CO2 was increasing with falling temps.CO2 is just minor GHG

Low sun activity allows more cosmic rays into the lower atmosphere and those cosmic rays create more clouds. More clouds means less sunlight reaches the earth and more sunlight is reflected back into space. Also a less active sun has smaller irradiance. That explains most -but not all- the cooling. Arctic sea ice increased MASSIVELY over Aug 2007, 700.000 square increase in Arctic Sea Ice. All global tempertature measures that I know are showing FALLS in temperature. There is global cooling because of sun inactivity. Read icecap *us. Aug 2008 finished without almost no sunspots, just a "half" sunspot. Last time that a calendar month had no sunspots was 1913. Read junkscience *c*om and search for the effect of cosmic rays on temperature by Svendmark.

Here in New York, it seems the snow storms get worse each year. Also, just a couple of days ago (It's August) we had a night in the 40s. I don't know if that says global warming doesn't exist though. I thought I heard that global warming makes everything out of wack.
