Joanne Yeoh: Professional Violinist & Lecturer

Graduated with a First Class Honours in BA (Hons) Middlesex University, UK.
Awarded a Luther and Ernest Gaunt Scholarship for Strings to study a Masters Degree at the University of Leeds, where she also received a Foreign and Commonwealth Office Scholarship, in association with British Council and the University of Leeds
Full time lecturer at Universiti Putra Malaysia
Recipient of The Outstanding Young Malaysian Award 2004
Launched debut album, Pulse of The Metropolis in 2005
Selected to be the only Asian in the panel of examiners for Trinity Guildhall London.
Performed with the Edinburgh Summer Festival Orchestra, Scotland, Aberswyth Music Festival, Wales and Aberdeen Music Festival, Scotland in summer 1998.
Toured with the Jacky Cheung Music Odyssey Tour 2002/03 covering over 40 performances in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, China, Taiwan, Brunei, USA, UK and Canada (2002).
Toured with David Tao Soul Power Tour 2003 touring Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan (2003)
Currently pursuing PhD in psychology at Heriot Watt, Edinburgh.
