Originating from Jena in Thuringia, Impfbass is the Brainchild of Dj extraordinaire Free-Kee, Percussionist Michael „Mitchi" Nagler and Video Artist Hermann Cott, who in late 2010 decided to bring the powerful sounds and images they had discovered through their time on and off stage together to create a new audiovisual experience.

On the musical side both Free-Kee and Mitchi bring a diverse and colorful background and countless years of gigs and big collaborations to the table. Free-Kee, packing some serious mixing, scratching, juggling and beatmashing skills, played shows with some truly legendary people including Afrika Bambaataa, Guru (Gang Starr), Johnny Knoxville and many more. He lays down a funky foundation based in Neo-Cumbia, Moombahton and some exotic and hard hitting Groove Tracks from all around the World. Free-Kee kicks major dj ass.

Mitchi Nagler is mostly known for his work with some of the biggest names in the European Techno and House scene. His tasteful Grooves can be heard on Tracks and during the Live Sets of Artists such as Mathias Kaden (with whom he plays together on a regular basis, solo and with their project Karocel), Marek Hemmann, Daniel Stefanik, Jeremy P. Caulfield, M.A.N.D.Y. , and many, many others. Using state-of-the-art electronic Handdrums, Mitchi creates an ever flowing and pulsating percussive ceiling over Free-Kees intense Sets, completely improvised and spontaneus.

Last but not least there is Hermann Cott, who adds his own and very special visual flavour to the Trio. From self-created clips to bits and pieces from Television Shows he incorporates every and any picture one could possibly imagine into his installations.

Together, the three of them manage to blow the minds of even the most sceptical ones. Combining the creative talent of artists as diverse as these boys from the middle of Germany, Impfbass emerges as something completely new and exiting.

Don't miss it.
