Artscape afterparty for Belly Dance Delight and DragonSong - Garoon Garoon

Everybody dance! We grabbed some audience members and danced to the very fun Armenian tune, "Garoon, Garoon," played by the very fun band, DragonSong (find them on myspace; they're local to Baltimore). Belly Dance Delight is a troupe directed by Nina Amaya (www.ninaamaya.com) - we are usually 5-7, but we expanded for Artscape!

Oh, we'd love to have you! We'll probably do the mass veil choreography again, and I'll teach a new one. I'd be happy to come to you and teach workshops in Lewes! Ooh, and I still want to book you for a workshop, too....

watching this video just makes me incredibly happy. :) People of all shapes and sizes and ages, men and women, skilled dancers and people just twirling around and making it up, everyone dancing together and having FUN. awesome. and nothing says "get up and dance!" quite like Garoon Garoon. :)
