@kirbywankenobi It may be rocket science, but you got it...
If you need anything, I'm looking for worthy work and would relocate. I miss composites... best time of my life...
Personally, while I respect the hard work of robots, I am better, faster, create surprisingly even less waste and am a lot more innovative.
I was lucky to be allowed to get 100% in my composite tech school and to then get my hands dirty "overseas".
Safety, Hazmat, IH, World renown excellence...
Then I became an NDI.

@boxtromp So the layup would be something like 1. Flat table, 2. Relese film, 3. film adhesive, 4. core, 5. vacuum bag sealed with chromate tape to table, perhaps with a support around the core so it doesn't crush inward.
Then after debagging the film adhesive forms a solid sheet to such down to a vacuum table? Sounds like a workable plan.

@kirbywankenobi --- You can held down the core with a film of adhesive and then with a "vacuum table".

That looks like 1/8" cell nomex core yes? How is the core held down? How well does the process work on core with a large cell size such as 1/4 or 3/8?
