wat i use to catch blue gill is a sabiki rig size 8 or 10 hook and cut it in half so u have 3 on a line and put a little piece of bread or worm and ill catch 2 doz in 5 min like that

catch little ones by taking a really rweally small hook, part of a worm just drop it into the water you catch tons. then hook them on a huge hook and put it on a bobber or sort of drop shot it

what you want to do is use a size 10 gold hook and a pieace of worm no longer than a airsoft pellet, then up grade to a bigger size 2 hook and then either hook them through the bottom lip of the back.
