i have this model, with catalytic converter removed and free flow muffler, makes a big difference. these cars are awesome, as well as mivec , at 4000rpm the intake plenum changes from long runner lenth to short runners lenth, and the exhaust has a valve that opens to give freer flow
the changeover point is 5500rpm, and altering this will only lose power unless he has aftermarket cams. on a stock setup, the stock changeover is optimum

the 3l dohc mivec is 199kw, alot more power than the 160kw from the 3.5l sohc engine.

nice. how to you find the 3L v6 for driving around town. is it worth spending the extra money to buy a 3.5L v6?
