That was a rough season, indeed, it's when I really started to pay more attention a become a fan of the Penguins team. Who would have thought that 4 short years later they would make the Stanley Cup Finals, and 5 short years later, this team would win the Stanley Cup?

This season was frustrating but fun at the sam time because you got to watch a young team grow as the season went on and it showed the final month of the season after the Pens had the 18 game winless streak they went 12-5-3 to finish the season it was tremendoust to see them come together at the end of the year

RIP John Barbero. for those that dont know he was the long time pens PA announcer. He passed away yeatserday after a 2 year battle with brain cancer, he was one of the best PA men in the league and will be sorely missed
