How to locate a break in your invisible fence with the DFNA locator from Dog Fence of North America. Please note that I am not an authorized invisible fence brand dealer. This is the most economical true RF-null locator on the market and it often outperforms units costing 2 to 5 times as much. You can track and locate breaks in underground pet fencing wire out to 3000 feet in a single direction. Simple location process allows you to find the underground wire within a couple inches and even determine its depth. This unit can be used not only on invisible fence brand but also on all other brands. This unit has been field tested by Dog Fence and often out performed our more expensive commercial level units. This unit can be purchased at www.invincibleservices.com
It just keeps getting better!!! We have recently upgraded our DFNA locator to increase the applicable distance it will locate on underground dog fencing systems. The new unit will transmit through as much as 3000' of wire in a single direction. After January 1 2012 the price will be increasing from $129.95 to $135.95 to cover the design improvements. Model number will change from 1016 to 1032. All units purchased after November 1st, 2011 are the new version.
@bleepinjeep You have a what is commonly referred to as a "partial" break. Yes this will locate it. Please call me with any additional questions.

@doctordennish cool thanks! I did some testing with a meter and it looks like my wire is not broken but just corroded somewhere (I found a lot of resistance in the wire). Will this locator help to find that?? The fence still works a bit at about 6 inches no matter what setting I have it on but my dogs neck is about a foot off the ground! Thanks for the help!

@bleepinjeep A recent upgrade to the locator now allows location out as far as 3000' in a single direction. Considering you can locate in both directions from the source that would effectively cover up to 6000 feet of wire. Also because the unit is completely self contained you can actually take it out along the perimeter and cut into your wire and connect it mid way around your system if necessary.

When you say 1000 ft does that mean 1000 feet of wire distance or 1000 ft from the transmitter in any direction?? What happens if I need to cover a larger distance? Thanks for the vid!
