A large group of hogs came to my feeder. Just as I got drawn on one, it stepped off camera and I had to let down. Before I could pick out another one, I heard some very deep grunting and all the hogs fled the scene. Seconds later, the source of the grunting, a big boar, strolled through the area outside of bow range and followed the group. Luckily, two small boars not a part of the original group came in late and I was able to make a good shot on one. As it trotted off, it spooked a deer that bounded out of the area. The deer caused the hog to turn and come back toward me, where he died in sight of the blind.
