  • The way I know this was God is by the impact it still has on people. The other wordly strength of the anointing and love. People still talk about it like it was the pinicle of their lives. People ask me all the time, why do you remember it like that. What happened there? My only response is: God showed up.

  • @crisbynt ....amen...without a doubt God showed up..over and over and over.

  • Can any one help me find the "sounds from Brownsville" It was not a video that i listened to.There were many things on it such as methodist talking about how God wanted to restore the church and Tinney tlking about a picture that bothered him about a bus load of kids all over the ground on thier way back from Brownsville, and Steve talking about "something is on the horizon, something big, I cant see it with my eyes, but i can sense it..." Please help me find it.

  • I will never forget Brownsville.I drove fron east Tn a sceptic at best.I was talking to an eldery lady(Mary Vandike) right before worship starated and she told me to get ready cuz God was going to get ahold of me, I replied, "not if I can help it."As the service went fouth, my knees were going out and my legs were shaking uncontrolably, Mary Vandike said, "don't fight it son, and laid her hands on me.God touched me and I have never been the same since!

  • @latabanza wow.. that is awesome. Thanks for sharing.

  • I remember it as well I went at least 5 times, I miss it greatly

  • It changed me forever!!!!!!!!!!

  • Hi TRichar384,I have just had a look at your video which was very good, I sense you greatly miss the atmosphere that was at Brownsville. I knew about Brownsville when it was aired on the God Channel towards mid 1999 and when it ended. I can only imagine what it must have been like. There was a song that Lindell Coolley sang in the Brownsville Revival Documentary, Lord I love you, which sounded so sweet, would you know where I could get a hold of that song. We need Revival again.

  • Our small group of 6 flew from KCI and waited in the long line all day with people who'd come from all over the world. Some people had Guitars and spontaneous worship started in the parking lot. We eat box lunches waiting there in line and sing worship songs. One young guy standing close to us said he was not a christian but had heard about what was happening and came all the way from Alaska to see for himself.

  • This a great video to remind those of us who were part of what God did in the last half of the 90s in Brownsville, Florida to close out the 20th century. We went twice with. I don't know what we expected because it was like nothing we'd ever encountered before or since. It really is impossible to fully explain. It changed everyone of us forever.

  • I went in 1997 as a youth. It changed my life forever. I have never felt anything like that since. I don't go by feelings alone but I must say there was a power there. People running to the altar. Worship so powerful you felt week in the knees.

  • @latabanza amen to that

  • @TRichar384 Looking back at it, it seems so long ago. But I am blessed to have witnessed it and to have been a part of it. To have been a part of Church History.

  • Brownsville was beautiful.. the fire is still burning HOT
