Hello, What size battery did you install for the fish finder? Did you install the transducer through the hull with goop? Is there anything you would have done differently.

Yes I would recommend this unit. I would have to say that the unit has not made me catch more fish but a wider variety of fish. I can now target better fish that live in different types of bottom.

12 volt 7 amp hour battery which will run the unit about 4, 8 hour days on a single charge. the ducer was gooped to the center line of the yak with silicone. I am very happy with the unit.
