  • Yes, Ralph marched AK, but aged out in 1973.

  • Mike Oldfield, very cool. Is Tom Float the tall guy in the center?

  • Yes, that is TF in the center and Al Murray, from Dynasty USA, holding down the end (to Tom's left).

  • Also Sam Kays from Canada and Dale Lofgren from Torrance California in the snare line.....I'm in the colorguard that got cutoff because the focus was on the drum solo....Loved the drum solo though.

  • Lol...yes we marched tympanis also!!!!

  • God I remember those old Ludwig Toms. Absolute trash that would fall apart after a couple of seasons. Guess not much has changed...lol

  • Hey is this the Drum Corps that Ralph Hardaman was in right?

  • I always loved the Kingsmen drum line. They played great songs on drums. Like Jethro Tull, George of the Jungle, Yellow Submarine. What I'd like most is, if they needed a extra time, the Kingsmen drummers would add a part on.

  • Holy crap.

I knew that they used to march mallets and tri-toms, but marching timpani?

    Honestly?

    That's freaking awesome.

  • Michael T. Ellerby!!!!

    Number one!!!

  • Ha!! I first played spider last year and did not know where it came from. (I'm old) Kick-ass street beat! I find it sorta cool that this is something a lot of drum lines play. Back in my days marching drums ('70-'75) everyone had their own street beat. Only time I heard drum lines playing the same beat is when our bass drums fired up the Cavalier beat--you know the one--while marching right next to them into the grand finale. Almost got into a fight!!! Ah, the good old days.....

  • tubular bells was SO far ahead of its time!
