He hates "berry talk", but he seems to be able to handle to word being used in normal context- he has the berry birds and in his debut, he was after all the berries.

"We're Having A Party---An International Party" was always my favorite Strawberry Shortcake song. I loved how she danced with everyone at the end.

The comedic dynamic between Sour Grapes and Purple Pieman was the best part of these specials. I haven't seen these since I was 5 and they still make me laugh.

The Muller-Rosen/TOEI/PMP first 3 specials are so much better than these Nelvana ones its not even funny! The Purple Pieman & Sour Grapes are the only things that make these even watchable!
True the Nelvana animation is a little more sophisticated, but the whole thing feels like its trying waaaay too hard to be cute (something the muller-rosen specials acheived effortlessly) & the end result is sacchirine & comparetively soul-less.
And the music: wheres Flo & Eddie?
