I like both of them in their roles as Batman/Bruce Wayne. In my opinion Bale did a better Bruce Wayne while Keaton did a better Batman. Keivin Conroy was the guy who really introduced to me to the Bat so he gets all my points.

If you're going for an uptight and up-his-own-arse 'cos I'm trying to redeam Gotham, then yeah Bale does a fine job as Wayne. I think Keaton nailed both the Bat and Bruce, as the first he really had an air of menace about him and as the second he carried a certain spolit brat who knows he too good air.
Not saying that I haven't been into the last 2 films but something (obviously) happened when I saw Burton's one on the big screen back in (christ) 1989!
