The program looked at the work of pop promo directors; Spike Jonze, Michel Gondry, Jonathan Glazer, Chris Cunningham and Dawn Shadforth, Jonas Auckland & Roman Coppola With the exception of Dawn Shadforth, Jonas Åkerlund & Roman Coppola- all the featured material featured in the Mirrorball programs can be found on the Palm DVD releases "The work of director..."
This particular episode is about Roman Cappola's work and features music by Air, Daft Punk, Mansun

I find it common for people to define what they want to do creatively by simply reacting to what is already in the genre.
"I see what everyone does and I dont like that...so I am going to do the opposite of that."
In some way that kind of antithetical process, for me, still places your work within the marginal web of the existing genre.
