athena acupuncture therapy

3 year old with quadriplegic cerebral palsy having acupuncture therapy. She has been receiving acupuncture (acupressure, qigong, tuina, acupuncture needling etc.) for 8 months. She is now more coordinated, and independent, quick to physically respond to multiple choice questions, She can spoon feed herself, is learning to drive a power wheelchair, and to walk with the help of a gait trainer.

8 months ago, she could not bring her arms together or even clap her hands. Her feet were turned inwards at the ankle causing her legs to cross at the ankle, and she stood on her toes. she could not successfully isolate any movements. She rarely vocalized, except when laughing, and had to communicate primarily by eye gaze.
