  • Fear?

  • The pakistanis kept on urging the world (the first one off course) to get engage with the Afghans as an aftermath of USSR withdrawal. They did engage; but the other way round and now the whole world is in such a huge mess and every one is thinking whether the world would have to bear Taliban as a reality once again.

  • No one seems to be bothered with listening to the guys who really understand what is going on: two comments in 6 months? Professor Stewart is one smart cookie.

  • We can do much more than we fear ?

  • but how can you do anything with the taliban acting as such a disruptive force. and how can you molify the taliban without more forces. and how can you add more forces without being more disruptive ourselves? can the west live with a taliban returned to power?
