summer of sound

Inspired by the walks of Janet Cardiff/George Bures Miller and Richard Long I was trying to move some city noise from very noisy places in Duesseldorf to very quiet places there. For orientation the noise map of the Office for the Environment in Düsseldorf was very helpful . The noises were digitally recorded and were building up a loop with a cumulative intensity. To get easier from area to area I used my bike.
