Thank you so very much for posting the show.I can't remember the last time I had tears rolling down my face from laughing so much.The way Danny interacted with both the audience and the orchestra was pure genious.

That's comedy and culture on a highest level! By the way, I am German, and even if the world means that we Germans have no sense of humor .- but we have: precisely this sense of humor! :-) I hope that Danny would be never forgotten! Thx so much for uploading @ obeca!

He said so much about the work of musicians. They are paid poorly and work and practise long hours all for the delight of an audience who seldom realise or appreciate how hard it is to become and remain an accomplished musician. i always feel grateful to the artists and often wonder at their devotion despite all.
A great soul like Danny k our modern troubled world.

Thank you so much Obeca for sharing this precious performance. I respect the true talent and professionalism from both Danny and the folks from NYP. I wish somebody will inherit this kind of program so the younger generation will continue to interact with music and of course the greatest orchestras in the planet. I saw this first when I was just a kid, got inspired, joined a school band with a trombone, and then joined an amateur orchestra. 25 years later I found this on YouTube and got really

Danny Kaye captured the essence of John Philips Sousa's intent in this composition... turn of the century optimism... an almost rowdy sense of confidence... and Danny Kaye brings all that out in this performance brilliantly! Thanks for posting this show...
