After doing so and probably regretting it, she pulled it down. Sadly, it was not fast enough.
Many people, UCLA students and non-UCLA students, have seen this and it has been brought to the attention of the UCLA staff members.

This is the response from the Chancellor of UCLA:
"To the Campus Community:

I am appalled by the thoughtless and hurtful comments of a UCLA student posted on YouTube. Like many of you, I recoil when someone invokes the right of free expression to demean other individuals or groups.

This one act certainly does not represent the views of our UCLA community. Our community is built on mutual respect and civility, and we are committed to fostering an environment that values and supports every member of the community. It is most unfortunate that a single clip on the Internet undermines that environment by expressing hurtful and shameful ideas about others in our community. I believe that speech that expresses intolerance toward any group of people on the basis of race or gender, or sexual, religious or cultural identity is indefensible and has no place at UCLA.

Let this incident serve as a reminder of our collective responsibility to confront hateful and ignorant speech and to uphold UCLA's core values of respect and integrity.

Alexandra Wallace issued a statement to the campus newspaper on Monday, issuing an apology to the "entire UCLA campus."

"Clearly the original video posted by me was inappropriate," she said in the statement. "I cannot explain what possessed me to approach the subject as I did, and if I could undo it, I would."

**PLEASE NOTE THAT I AM NOT THE GIRL IN THIS VIDEO! AS A STUDENT AT STANFORD UNIVERSITY, I KNOW THAT I REPRESENT THE STUDENT BODY AND WOULD NEVER PUT STANFORD IN JEOPARDY. I WISH ALEXANDRA WALLACE HAD KNOWN THE SAME WHEN SHE POSTED THIS RACIST RANT ON YOUTUBE."

Whilst this is incredibly racist and her uploading this video was a fucking stupid thing to do, the fact that she received threats etc and felt she had to leave UCLA as a result is unfortunate. Yeah, "it's her own dumb fault" etc, but I've seen far more racist behaviour towards Asians in the form of direct bullying at my university, yet haven't seen those people reprimanded.
