@bradthebluefish Take that back. More like $650 off

The Cortek Factory in North Korea assembles these guitar. Their brand, the Cort AS-M5, is the same build but for $300 less just to lose the brand name. I have it and love it! I just like being smart with my money.

Sounds like shit

Hey paul, i really value your oppinion, how do you rate there classicals? they sure look nice but are the good sound/qual?
-
did they discontinue this guitar?

I have heard these un-plugged and they sound great. Very deep sound. I am looking at this very model and think it will make a great addition to my collection. My Taylor is still the guitar to beat tho. But this one stacks up close.

@4kmister Jealous much?

@domovision Yep, the Baggs is important, but not "the most important" -- that's all that bothered me. Fishman's stuff CAN be excellent - depends on which one you're talking about. My Parker has a Matrix, which is a ribbon under the saddle and a humbucker at the base of the neck, and I never heard anything more pure. But then they make some junk, like most.

@inky960 I agree with you, but the LR Baggs is an impportant point, cause the majority of electric acoustics you find these days have Fishman. Not a fan of Fishman at all. There products suck IMHO, and there customer service does to, as they proved to me when my Aura Blender crapped out after about 20 hours of use.
Breedlove is way better than Alvarez!

This is stupid. All thats demonstrated here is the LR Baggs pickup system. I still have no idea how the actual guitar sounds. My $200 yamaha with a fishman matrix pickup sounds like that. Acoustic guitar reviews should never have the guitar plugged in.
