Super Smash Bros. Brawl upscaled to high definition (30fps, deinterlaced from interlaced capture)

It seems that high definition is too much for most people's computers, so I will stick to standard definition instead of upscaling my videos.

Another one of my tests. This one is to see what Brawl looks like when upscaled to a high-definition resolution (720 x 1280) and uploaded to YouTube.

(I don't actually know what it looks like before it's uploaded because my current computer is too slow to play high-definition files.)

I did not try to put this one in 60fps because I only want to test one thing at a time.

OK, differences in the video lagging are understandable because everybody has different grades of computers.

But it is interesting how opinions on the actual quality differ from person to person. Some like it, some don't. To me, it honestly didn't look much different than high quality. It basically looked like a bigger version of it without any extra detail added. (Which makes perfect sense.)

Oh well though. Upscaling to HD for Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a no-go anyway.

Alright, well, it looks like high definition is no good as so many people are having trouble playing it. It's not the video either, as I was able to play it perfectly on a university computer today.

So it looks like my Brawl History videos will stay in standard definition. That's OK though, Wii games aren't supposed to be upscaled, so standard should be just fine.

Back then HD sucked on Youtube. But now it plays and looks better so I would say HD should be used now.

I'm trying something similar to this (except I capture on a 4:3 TV); how exactly did you de-interlace and resize it?

On a side note, my card captures at 720x480, and the height of YouTube's HD window is 480 according to my screenshotting skills, so I'm hoping to get something that looks just like the captured video, minus the interlacing.
