Update (20.12.09): Attending the New Zealand Platinum: Arceus Official Pre-Release Event! (Part 1)

Part 1 of 2.

Had a great day out. I learned to play, thanks to a guy named Darryl. Was really relaxed, got some free booster packs for participating and we all pretty much learned and came home to play it all!

Pulls were ok, some were odd (one or two of my packs came with no rare, but only a reverse!).

Either way, it was yet another fantastic pre-release, and I took my folders this time to share some of my collection also.

Thanks to Claire Tung, once again, for organising another pre-release. Looking forward to next year's HG/SS one, but I hear there's also a tournament (non-pre-release) which I may end up attending now that I can play a bit...

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this little glimpse into our day. With 2 parts to this video, it's probably safe to assume that we had a great time that we took a lot of footage!

I feel like a boy again, in a good way ;)

Looked like a good time. The pulls were stinkin' lousy though. No rare in that one pack. Wow.

My favorite album of 09 was "Merriweather Post Pavilion".

Yeah, they were crappy unfortunately. As for Animal Collective - I think there's a consensus - The whole world seems to have that on their top 10 lists for 2009, myself included...
