Hey, everyone, don't forget to watch the premiere of JONAS on Saturday, on Disney channel at 8 p.m.! :]

------------------------------------------------

And there I was. Standing in a colorful battlefield, mushed with oozes of old paintballs. I had my arm-lengthed paintball gun in my right hand while my eyes were covered with clear goggles. I looked around at my surroundings, waiting for the green light and music to come on. We all stood in a circle.
We looked at one another, staring each other down. "Boys against girls?" Nick asked. Lindsey came over to me and looked back at the boys. "Your on."
I whispered to Lindsey, kind of nervous, "Linds, were out numbered."
"So? They need all the help they can get." She replied, staring the boys down one by one, clutching her paintball gun.
'I see your dirty face, High behind your collar, What is done in vain, Truth is hard to swallow...' The song 'Let It Rock' by Kevin Rudolf blared through the building and the green light beeped on meaning, 'Run for your life!'
Lindsey and I quickly darted for the huge pyramid that had hiding spots and stairs inside. There was so many obstacles through this place, it was hard to get through, let alone shoot paintballs at people. From the top of the pyramid, I could see where all the boys were hiding. Nick shot into a tunnel that was connected to a big tower. Kevin ran to a flight of stairs, leading to a net tunnel. And Joe...well Joe was underestimating his ability to camouflage and his behind a huge block on the first floor.
Lindsey fired for Kevin when he got into the net tunnel. She hit him right in the arm with a green paintball. I gave her a high five but quickly ducked when three paintballs hit the spot next to me. I looked down to the bottom and saw Joe smiling up at me before going back to his hiding spot. I told Lindsey to stay up at the top and shoot any skin she sees....except mine. He is going to get it.
I ran down the stairs and quickly dodged five paintballs fired from Nick's gun. He was still in the tunnel. I knelt down, aimed and shot four paintballs into his tunnel. "Aaahh! I got shot!" I heard the echo of Nick's voice. I laughed and got up on my feet, looking for any signs of the eldest Jonas'.
'You spin my head right round, right round, When you go down, when you go down, down...' The music switched and was now playing 'Right Round' by Flo Rida featuring Kesha Kohl.
I heard shots from above being shot from Lindsey's gun but, she just missed Joe's arm. I held my breath and ran as fast as I could over to a small tower. I had dodged about ten paintballs but, I didn't have time to see who shot them. I peeked out from around the tower and saw that I had a clear view of Joe. I aimed and fired five paintballs, hitting him right in the side. He whipped his head in my direction and got off his knees, running over to a bigger block while shooting paintballs at me. I easily dodged them and shot a few but got nothing. Without anyone knowing, I snuck over to the other side of the block that Joe was hiding behind.
"Hey, Joe." I called over to him, just loud enough for only him to hear. "Kate..." He growled. I could hear shuffling coming from my right so I started moving to my left. I kept crawling until I was on the side Joe was previously on. "Hey are 'ya?" I asked. "I'll be awesome when I shoot you." He called from the other side. "Awww, that's not very nice." I responded in a little kid voice. I quickly got up on the clock, making sure he didn't hear me. I got into the hole in the center of the block, dodging more shots fired from Nick and Kevin when they saw me. I crouched down into the hole and listened for and shuffling from outside.
I could hear Joe continuing to go around the block. I poured more paintballs into my gun and stood up. I saw Joe clearly and aimed, firing on top of his head. A splatter of pink was painted into his hair as he stood to look at me. He slowly raised his gun as I got out of the center of the hole. Paint was splattered all over my back as I ran.
When the game ended, we were all covered in different colors. "That was awesome!" Kevin shouted, giving Lindsey a high five with both hands then pulled her into a hug. I gave Nick a hug but, then put a whole lot of paint into his hair from my hand that I used to crush the rest of my paintballs with. "Dork..." He said when I pulled away from him. "Curly top.." I smirked and walked away from him.
"Nice game, Kathryn." Joe called from behind me. I turned around and became face to face with him. Well...more like face to chest. I had to look up to look at his face. His face was smeared with different fluorescent colors as he smiled. "Yeah well...we all knew we were going to win." I half smiled up at him while smearing the rest of the paint on my hand, on to his cheeks. "You just got lucky." He replied, also putting paint on to my face.
"No. Luck had nothing to do with it. Just skill."
