@4X4Hart This dumbguy did it from the west end in a stock 88 XJ with 300k miles and very bald tyres(265's, only not stock thing) Being with a group is also a good idea. (just wait at the end and tag along with one). Lockers lockers....or a winch. I got hung up once going over the big tree trunk. once i got winched off i made it over the second try but john bull means no bull*^&$. I now got the urge to put together a $4k xj for rubi

Great video! A group of us Jeepers from San Diego are going to be up in Big Bear Feb 6-8. I'm hoping to get John Bull in the mix!
would my blazer k5 make it with a 4" suspension lift, 35" mud tires, no lockers & a good driver? what days & hours is the trail open?

The second Jeep in my video is a late model Rubicon, stock tires and 3 inch lift. He had enough lift but couldn't make it through a couple of spots without using his lockers. We didn't want to work at it all that hard. My advice is. Don't try it alone unless you have a winch. I believe the trail is always open unless there is a fire.
