  • The conducting of Abbado is outstanding! Listen to the small details, the crescendo and the decrescendo at 0.40 and the crescendo in the repetative ornament in the strings from 2.39 till 3.10!

  • I, too, love Marilyn Horne. She is wonderful. And I love this sextet. Thanks for posting it.

  • Pretty rude commment.

  • Certified Intergalactic! One of a kind performance!

  • Music is fantastic, but the concept is really sketchy...looks like a fellini/lynch movie

  • This is a great version, but you are mistaken, if you look carefuly you could hear and see that Don Magnifico is played by Samuel Ramey and Dandini by Enzo Dara.

  • Great memories!

  • Just love this. Yehey!!! (Hands and feet clapping) :-)

  • Intergalactic!

  • you´re so right about von stade, but I still like Horne better

  • von Stade, bartoli, Didonato (last two I don't know, but more than Horne)
