On November 30, one flag will be placed on the National Mall for every discharged service member in commemoration of the signing of "Don¹t Ask, Don't Tell." These flags will stand as a testament to the waste caused by this discriminatory law; serving as a backdrop for a series of events that weekend honoring GLBT Americans' service, their sacrifice, and their fight to serve with dignity on the 14th anniversary of "Don¹t Ask, Don¹t Tell."
Spartan army was almost entirely gay. The Greeks gave boys over to older men to mentor in the ways of citizenship, military, and sex. The Olympics were entirely male and everyone was naked. Oil and grease all-male wrestling is still popular in Turkey,Iran,&Greece unto this day. History has shown that gays can be some of the best soldiers, particularly good for long campaigns as they can seek sexual release and relationships amongst themselves.
