No one should support the government when socialist descisions and ideas (bills) are being passed! You're right it's not about who's in office as much as what they are doing in office and where they are taking our countryl. Now is not the time to be in the middle or on the fence. I don't think you can compare the criticism for Bush with that leveled at Obama. People waited to speak out against Bush until he did something bad for the country, i.e. he organized an energy policy for our country and had big oil, gas, etc. design it at meetings.

With Obama the criticism and downright paranoid statements (he is a secret Muslim, he isn't really an American) started before he took office, so it obviously wasn't aimed at what he did but who he was.

Before Obama took office, racism never really seemed to be that big of an issue in our society, and I was not racist at all. Now, after 3 years of racism being rammed down our throats in politics, I truly feel like being a racist. I'm saying this not to spite anybody, I'm just saying this because it is how I feel (the race card has been played SO much in the past 3 years)....and NOBODY can truly control how they feel about certain things.
