RE: Dance Dance Revolution champ, NO BARS NO CHEATING

disclaimers (for morons): i am NOT thirteen years old.

i do NOT own an x-box, or a 360. nor have i ever played any ddr game on x-box live.

THESE WERE ALL JOKES! references to the video i was originally replying to, which featured a thirteen year old kid playing the home version of ddr supernova on ps2. in the video description, his friend boasted that he could beat all the x-box live players, even the ones using controllers. (note the irony of a kid playing a ps2 game and being able to beat everyone on x-box live, haha)

also: yes, i realize it is possible to play dancing games without towels. once again, you people need to learn how to take a joke. i didn't realize that 99% of youtube users were morons.

anyway... if you care to know the story behind the video, here it is. warning: long description is long.

this is a video i made in response to SmashGordonProduct's "Dance Dance Revolution champ, no bars no cheating" video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MTZKc5_DTz8 ).

i commented on his video, making a remark about what a "champion" his friend was for getting over 100 greats on a song on a home version of ddr. SmashGordonProduct replied to my comment, and this is an exact quote of what he said (yes, typos and all):

SmashGordonProduct: Its funny how incompetent you are to not see that it was a warm up. also I challenge you to do better. seriosuly.

so i accepted his challenge, and this video is the result. in addition to that, another youtube user, jarsen ( http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=jarsen ) replied to my comment, betting $20 that i could not do better. that explains the remark i make at the end of this video, saying someone on youtube owes me 20 bucks.

i told him i would start the video from my car in the parking lot of the arcade, so he could see me walk in and play the song (No. 13 heavy) as my first song of the day. and more so, my walk through was for comedic purposes, as the entire video is meant to be taken as a joke.

unfortunately, the supernova machine was in use when i arrived, so i had to make two videos and combine them into one. but trust me, this was my first song of the day.

this video was recorded on 11-9-06.

since making the comments / video reply though, SmashGordonProduct has deleted his video entirely from youtube. and jarsen has refused to pay me the 20 dollars he owes me from his bet.

for the record: i do not feel that using the bar is "cheating." it is your decision whether or not you choose to use the bar, and not anyone else's. oh, and besides... it's a video game. people who care enough to insult you for your video game playing preferences are pathetic, and need to find something else to do with their time.
