@mjs214 Maybe mainline crews are to expensive? And they can get the same quality through contract carriers like Republic.

Remember, they know what's coming. All of them are voluntary employees that want to work there. I say go after it and ignore these idiots.

The whole airline industry is horrible to work for they dont pay crap and you never know when you will be laid off. I am not sure the whole deregulation thing is working they just keep going broke.

every outsourced aircraft at a contract carrier such as republic means 10 less mainline pilot positions.

and make only $20700 a year as a first year F.O? No thanks
(You only make at best 33300 after 3 years as an F.O. and that's top pay as F.O.) becoming a Captain can take a Lonnnnnnnnng time especially in this economy.
a Delta MD88 first year F.O. makes $40560. This is what we are losing people.
