Don't be so naive, America never wanted any democracy in middle east neither Israel. The west takes his benefit (oil) as long as there is unrest there. Israel is happy as long as there is internal conflict between Arabs, lack of democracy in the Arab world helps stability of Israel, at least this is what Kenesset believes!
Let's hope Obama is not playing games and that he means what he says! let's hope US don't support Mubarak and don't guarantee his safety as long as he'll stay on power

A racket is best described, I believe, as something that is not what it seems to the majority of the people. Only a small 'inside' group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes."

Self appointed guardians are at work. Hypocrites talk about democracy but in fact are the enemy of democracy. Well no flunkey leader would last in the middle east again. After this uprising there will be effort to install another lackey but then again people will throw that leader and install their own popular leader. Its a dirty game has been going on for century but it will not last for ever. The lady journalist Jihan Hafez speaks great.

"War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives.
