Description: Instead of participating in "Real World" parodies (a Speech and Drama I project for many years), students in the 2007 -- 2008 first period Speech and Drama I class decided to script and videotape parodies of VH1's hit TV programs, "Flavor Of Love" and "I Love New York."
The edited "I Love New York" MPEG file turned out to be over 41 minutes long! Here are two highlights from the show:

Educational Objectives:
Students will arrange themselves into collaborative groups based upon the character types that they will select.
Students, working in collaborative groups, will design a conflict to be present in the scenes of their "I Love New York" and "Flavor of Love" imitations.
Students, working in collaborative groups, will compose scripts for their "I Love New York" and "Flavor of Love" imitations utilizing script dialogue conventions and stage directions.
Students, working in collaborative groups, will produce their scripted "I Love New York" and "Flavor of Love" dramatic scenes before a videocamera.
