Great version, first time I've heard it. I've been listening to the Hoy Hoy version (which I think is the Lycanthrope one) for decades now and it's amazing to see it performed (albeit murkily). I love the spontaneous round of applause after the extended jam (sames as on Hoy Hoy).
This is a great example of Little Feat in their prime. A 7/4 song with the bridge in 4/4 , but they play it seemlessly. Note to all young players, " These are the guys to listen to! Jimmy page called em the best band in America and Mic Jagger and Lowell George stole off each other. This IS the shit that hit the Fan!
Kevin, etc, Lowell has always been a huge influence, his out there mentality was his biggest attribute, His slide is amazing, he used a craftsman socket..he said that way no matter what city, or town he was in, if he lost one..he could easily go and replace it...lol Thats Lowell, R.I.P
Hey, interesting to see Lowell playing a Gibson...always suspected that's what he used during early Feat.
