Yes, the cast of SGU were older overall but it was still a teen-soap on the wrong network.

@LoneSola There was a TV series within the series called Wormhole X-treme, written by that guy Martin Lloyd (who was himself an alien refugee hiding on Earth) based more-or-less on SG-1s adventures. SG Command kept it going to help promote plausible deniability, if anyone started talking about the Stargate they'd just point out the series and call the person crazy. In 200 the team was helping Lloyd come up with episode ideas
