  • Great video once again. What happened to posting the HQ version of #4 on your site?

Also, its good to hear you weren't affected by the earthquake. Hope you and yours are OK.

I had a hard drive crash last week which resulted in 250GB worth of data going to the land of digital heaven. Retro Core SS Vol:4's raw data files were amongst the dead data. Only the YouTube version is left.

  • @Yakumo1975 Ouch that sucks, hope you didn't lose anything important. You should use some sort of back-up system to prevent that.

  • @Tel1mektar

I did manage to get a few thousand music tracks back, some videos and all the photos so It wasn't a total loss. My site was gone though however all I had to do is download that from the server it runs from so no problem there.

I do back up very important stuff but where would you end? It's not very practical to make two copies of everything on the hard drive. I'm just waiting for the day solid state drives become the norm. That should solve many a problem.

  • @Yakumo1975 You could use some sort of automated back-up system to an external HDD or NAS, there's some vry good software for that (it's even built-in in Windows) but who am I to say that I never backed up anything ever XD. Just by curiosity how did you manage to lose all that data , The HDD just failed ?

  • @Tel1mektar

Yes, it was just a HDD failer. All was normal then I could here some strange clicking and then it went. No access at all to the disc. I did manage to get a some stuff off of it before it was a total gonner though. It was a Maxtor drive. I've now replaced it with a 500GB Western Digital drive.

I'm from Liverpool originally. North West of England.

  • Oh man all this version of Road Blaster lacks is the cheesy as hell rock ballad from the Mega CD version that Wolfteam added. XD

  • Time Gal, used to have that on Sega CD.
