I made this video so that others could see how amazing children with Down Syndrome are.

‎★"The highest form of ignorance is when you reject something you don't know anything about." -Wayne Dyer ★

Thanks to everyone for all their positive comments =)
I remade my first video because Youtube said there was copyright issues with a song on my other video.
Songs: Janelle, Amazing & Creed, With Arms Wide Open

This is a montage of my beautiful baby Arianna who is blessed with Down Syndrome! Yes I say blessed, because with Arianna having DS, she has taught us so much about love, strength, and acceptance. We feel honored to of been chosen by God to be Arianna's parents, and to have an angel on earth with us.

I made this video so that everyone can see how wonderful it is to have a child with Down Syndrome.
Children with DS may take a little longer to hit milestones, but they will! Every accomplishment is incredible!

1 in every 700 mothers will give birth to a baby with Down Syndrome. There is nothing you do, it just happens, and their is a third set of the 21st chromosome which happens to be Trisomy 21 also known as Down Syndrome. Right now over 90% of expectant mothers that find out their baby might have Down Syndrome chooses to terminate! The test is not for sure, it is only 50% accurate, plus many doctors give bias information and opinions. Every parent I know that has a child with DS knows how wonderful and fulfilling it is to have a child that has Down Syndrome.
They are not a burden, or any other word other than loving, kind, smart, funny, and can light up your day with their sweet smile! Please don't treat children with Down Syndrome differently, treat them with respect, and just be patient, they might take a little longer to do some things but they have a heart of gold and an unbreakable spirit!

♥ Arianna is now 6 years old(updated Nov 2011), she talks so much in sentences, and signs over 250 signs! She was potty trained at 2 1/2 years old, and she knows her shapes and colors and understands so much! She can write her name and knows the alphabet :) She is so sweet, funny, smart, gorgeous & she is our sunshine ♥

  • I've seen this video countless times, and I still can't help but cry. My family adopts special needs children. We have 3, 2 with Down Syndrome. There's nothing more amazing and loving than a child with Down's. Though one of my sisters passed away from a heart complication with Down Syndrome, she will always be one of my biggest role models.

  • You seem like great parents. I commend you for that. It's like a match made in heaven. And she's such a cutie

  • Nice video! My 24 yr old niece has down syndrome. She has grown to be a great young woman. She was treated and raised like any child would and is very independent.
