Sewing Lesson: Blind Hem

In this video I cover everything you need to know to correctly stitch a blind hem on a skirt, a pair of pants, or any other sewing project. I show you what kind of foot you need to have on your machine to correctly stitch out a blind hem, what the blind hem stitch looks like so you can pick it out of your decorative stitches, how the stitch should look when it is stitched correctly, and how it looks with both a contrasting thread color and a coordinating one.

I also cover step-by-step how to fold your fabric in order to correctly stitch a blind hem. I show you how to do this twice in this sewing tutorial.
